Hi I'm Stephanie, second-year Apprentice and owner of Heart on Fauna!

I'm a 28-year-old resident nature freak living in the Foothills of North Carolina, although I'm originally from California. Fashion blogger turned rehabilitator, I have always had a love for wildlife and conservation, but fell in love while volunteering during the height of Covid-19.

Growing up playing vet on every animal I could get my hands on, having an avid outdoorsman for a father, and Steve Irwin as my childhood hero, I know I was destined to have a life involving the care and protection of animals! 

The cover image on this website, me surrounded by fawns at my mentor's facility, captures the exact moment my soul sparked and I knew this is what I wanted to spend the rest of my life doing.

My goal is provide every animal I intake with the best care possible, and to love them until they are released. I also aim to educate the public as much as possible through social media and public interaction.

Outside of the wild side? You can probably find me outside with my amazing boyfriend, chilling with my own fur-babies, designing clothing and accessories, and running a rock n' roll music podcast!
